A Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference (or even CVAC) is an intercollegiate athletic conference connected by using a NCAA’s Division Two. A CVAC reached its modern incarnation around 1994. Member institutions come in the southeastern United States in the States of North Carolina and South Carolina. Previous member Longwood University, which left the CVAC inside 2004 in order to move up to Section We, is located in Farmville%2C_Virginia. When of this writing, a conference has non changed its title to reflect its decreased membership.

A CVAC sponsors intercollegiate athletics inside men’s baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.
